From Wednesday August 28 to Sunday September 1, 2024, dive into five days of amazing jazz, and immerse yourself in the best jazz performances and vibrant atmosphere of DC. Across all 8 wards of Washington, DC, the DC JazzFest will be celebrating their 20th anniversary with performances on outdoor and indoor stages, showcasing the rich diversity of jazzmusic in a variety of settings, including iconic venues such as Westminster DC , the Australia in the United States , the Carlyle Room, The Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, The Kreeger Museum, Mr. Henry’s, Franklin Square and Takoma Station & culminating on Labor Day weekend at The Wharf. Get ready to groove and make memories.
Its’ 2-hour format is like no other in that it features the productions of both major & independent artists, from all over the world, side by side in a mixture of funk and soul music, with so much of it never heard across an international platform !!
