The first Funky People Online® member newsletter was published on April 5, 2006. The original newsletter was published bi-weekly to maintain member interaction and communication between our seasonal group events. 
On Memorial Day Weekend of that year, the first international travel group event was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The public website, Funky People Online® was then launched later than Summer to a larger audience on August 1, 2006.
Today, our mission continues connecting creatives, professionals, who are out-going and progressive with a penchant for discovering what life & diverse culture has to offer!
