The Funkiest Show on Radio continues this year every TUESDAY at 2pm ET ~ Skip “The Funktologist” Reeves hosts A Funk Above The Rest on FunkyPeopleRadio.net, AFATR is the most unique radio show broadcasting in the 21st century! Its’ 2-hour format is like no other in that it features the productions of both major & independent artists, from all over the world, side by side in a mixture of funk and soul music, with so much of it never heard across an international platform !!

One of our station mainstays and an audience favorite over the years, AFATR enters it’s 17th year and keeps the funk groovy for 2025 with new weekly broadcasts Tuesdays at 2pm ET (with replays on Thurs 1am, Saturdays at 8am). SAY YES FLOETRY TOUR: Making USA tour stops in NJ, Baltimore & the DC-DMV areas, Floetry performs live with Raheem DaVaughn & Teedra Moses this Spring 2026. 

Floetry’s Say Yes Tour marks their first national outing since their 2016 reunion tour. The upcoming tour is billed as “a celebration and a revival—an opportunity for audiences to experience Floetry’s music as it was always intended: live, intimate, and emotionally immersive. These 2026 live show dates come on the heels of the 20th anniversary of their sophomore album, Flo’Ology, released in November 2005. The album included gems such as the Grammy-nominated “SupaStar” featuring Common and “Lay Down.”

Floetry made their introduction with 2002’s Floetic, which included classics such as the title track, “Say Yes” and “Getting Late.”

The album earned the duo multiple Grammy nominations, including Best Contemporary R&B Album, Best Urban/Alternative Performance (“Floetic”) and Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals (“Say Yes”).
